In May, the MCA hosted a beautiful reception to honor the 6 recipients of the Annual Steamfitting Scholarship Program. These bright young men and women received monetary awards for their diligence along with brand new iPads to help them off at their new schools. To date, the Steamfitting Promotion Fund has awarded almost 2 million dollars to the children of hardworking 638 steamfitters and looks forward to many more years of continuing his tradition.
The application period opens in August with a November deadline. If interested in applying, please make sure your email is registered with the Fund Office and that you have opted in to email notifications. The Fund Office sends out an email blast once the application period is open. Student applicants must be a graduating high school student and the son or daughter of a steamfitter with at least 10 years of service in our industry.
