On April 16, MCA held its Annual meeting at the LaGuardia Marriott. Felice Farber, Executive Director of the Subcontractors Trade Association (STA), joined us to discuss some of the latest issues impacting subcontractors. Felice highlighted the STA’s work and advocacy on issues such as retainage, material price escalation, and insurance claims. Felice also touched on some of the education and networking opportunities the STA offers to help contractors engage with the industry.
The Association thanked outgoing President, Ed English of WDF, Inc., for his service to the industry. Additionally, members welcomed newly elected director Joseph Furelli of JDP Mechanical, as well as re-elected directors David Israel of Rael Automatic Sprinkler, Michael Fregara of Epic Mechanical, and Michael Russo of Fresh Meadow Mechanical.
